Boat Show Season is steadily approaching!  Communities In Schools of Perquimans County invites you to be a part of the THIRD Annual Northeastern North Carolina Boat Show April 18th, 19th, and 20th 2008!

The Northeastern North Carolina Boat Show benefits Communities In Schools of Perquimans County.  It is the mission of Communities In Schools to champion the connection of needed resources with schools and other sites to help young people learn, stay in school and prepare for life.  Profits from the boat show will allow us to expand the services of Communities In Schools to surrounding counties of The Albemarle to provide the five basics that we believe all children need in order to be successful: a healthy start and a healthy future; a person, one-on-one relationship with a caring adult; a safe place to learn and grow; a marketable skill to use upon graduation; and a chance to give back to peers and community.  To read more about what CIS does in your community, check out our website at www.cisalbemarle.org
